PartyLite has been a staple in my home for several years now. When I discovered the quality of the candles themselves and the accompanying accessories, I quickly became hooked. Every season there are new products being introduced and their newest line are the GloLite Pillars.
Candles in general are pretty standard with the exception of the ingredient/item quality. GloLite Pillars are different though. Instead of light only being emitted from the flame itself, the entire candle illuminates. I mean the ENTIRE thing! From top to bottom the candle glows, creating a unique and beautiful ambiance. Still not sure what the hullabaloo is about?

These are so gorgeous! The soft glow reflected on everything and somehow changed the whole mood in the room. When not lit, the translucent crackled pillars look great on their own. I am extremely pleased with this new addition to the already fantastic Partylite line.
The last thing I wanted to touch on is the fragrance. I am pretty picky about the type of candles scents I like (light, fruity, not too sweet) so I was a bit apprehensive in ordering the Calm Waters scent without first trying it. I love it! In fact, so does my husband and daughter. And they are even more sensitive to smells than I am! Calm Waters is just a fantastic smell that will put you right at ease.
Now I have not yet had a chance to burn these pillars for the recommended 3 or more hours yet. I did notice in the instructions, though, that special care needs to be given to maintaining the shape of the pillars and preventing a ‘balloon’ effect. So save these babies for a quiet evening with your loved one or when you are in need of ‘me’ time.
