CafePress Review of Custom Design Case, Drinkware, Power Bank…

After hosting the CafePress giveaway last month, it was my turn to do a bit of shopping. Decision, decisions. It took quite some time before I was able to finalize my order because there were just too many awesome things on CafePress to choose from.

At the very least, I knew I had to look for a new phone case. I needed to find one that could easily put on and taken off since I can’t use a case in my charging dock or the car holder. The slider case was perfect and a good excuse to brand my phone. Creating and uploading my design was a cinch. I have been loving how I can get it on and off so effortlessly. The material inside prevents scratching and the hard case has a slight silicon-type feel so it’s easy to grip but still slides in pockets nicely. The only bummer is that my image came out a bit light (more on that later). Other than that, I really, really, really like it! They also have iPhone 5 and ipad cases.

I also wanted to get something that used an image from the CafePress.com graphic library. Do you see what that is on the water bottle? If you didn’t immediately get it, it’s a raspberry doing a ‘raspberry’ (when you stick your tongue out and blow, making a “plpplplppp” sound). HA! Yes, I’m a total corn ball  The print was clear and just so cute. I only wondered why it was printed right on the seam. Machine restriction or lack of common sense?

The next, and last, item sprang from real-world situations. Whenever I’m at events or out with the family, my phone battery drains so quickly and I have no way of recharging it. Do you know how frustrating it is to have your phone and not be able to use it?! The power bank I had ordered is fantastic! It’s not much bigger or heavier than my phone, comes with a boatload of plug attachments and a carrying case, you can plug up to two devices in it, and it has a one-button operation. Though this was the same image I used for my phone case, it turned out perfectly on the power bank. The colors are rich and the quality is super clear – it’s purty…

The power bank stores 7000 mAh – which means it can fully charge my phone at least three times and my tablet at least two times. My husband was surprised such a little thing could hold so much! The button lights up when turned on and changes color as the battery juice gets low. When not in use, the device automatically turns off after 10 seconds. It does take a good seven hours or so to charge back up so make sure you get it to 100% the day/night before you need it.

CafePress offers options for everyone and carries items across all price ranges. You can find custom T-shirts, wall art, pet accessories, home decor, stickers, stationary, and more. Their own graphic library is pretty huge but not all of it is, ahem, family-friendly. Be especially cautious when browsing the ‘humor’ category. Not everyone thinks the same things are funny and, depending on the person, some sayings and graphics might be offensive. The print quality is excellent but I may vary based on the medium it’s being put on. Shipping was very quick and everything was packed sufficiently. There are always different promos and coupon codes available so keep an eye out for those and time your orders accordingly.

They really do. It’s just hard to narrow down what to get due to price constraints 😛

Since I physically had your phone in my hands today, I have to say, it looked great. I loved your logo and it made me wish I had a cool blog so I could get one made for myself. Jealous!
