Gelarti – A New Way to Enjoy Stickers

Gelarti Stickers Review…

What’s more fun than playing with stickers? Making them yourself! Gelarti lets children color in their own stickers using special gel paint. After allowing time for the paint to try, stickers can be easily stuck on anything, removed, then reused. The gel paint is transparent when dry so these are perfect for decorating windows or drinking glasses.

Gelarti Gel Paint Clear Stickers

Within minutes my daughter started using the gel bottles. It was pretty self-explanatory so she didn’t need any direction or help in painting her stickers. She only had to refer to the instructions to find out how long to let the paint dry – which was about six hours. Then just peel and stick! Painting is basically squeezing out paint and moving it around with the tip to make a smooth layer. So, it’s relatively mess-free. I’d still suggest using a work surface and clothes you don’t mind getting paint on to be on the safe side.

Just so you know, these stickers are pre-cut on clear sheets and the paint merely goes over them. We did a craft project previous to this in which the paint itself formed the sticker, with no backing or adhesive. This is not the same. That’s not a bad thing but we were a bit confused with the extra sticker area around the graphic.

Gelarti is a great activity for children 3-10 and tweens might enjoy using them to personalize their things. The sticker and paint sets come in a variety of sizes and designs. This is an inexpensive way to let your kids be creative and have fun with stickers without worrying you’ll have half-torn off sticker backing on your walls and chairs. Win-win I say. You can find Gelarti products exclusively at Toys “R” Us.
