I have partnered with Johnson’s Baby to share some exciting news about their products. All opinions are my own.

Babies – we care for them, raise them, and love them. We do our best to do everything “just right” so they can grow happy and healthy. The last thing we want to do is slather them all over with products that we don’t trust. Johnson’s Baby has been a staple for most mothers at some point in our children’s lives. But, when the company heard growing concerns from moms about the ingredients used, they listened and a proactive decision was made to change the formula.

Johnson's Baby new formula for seven products to remove ingredients like formaldehyde-releasing preservatives and parabens #PromiseToBaby #partner

Changing the Formula of Johnson’s Baby Products

It’s not that Johnson’s Baby products were unsafe to begin with. However, to ease the minds of mothers everywhere, seven items from the main product line have been reformulated to:

  • Remove formaldehyde-releasing preservatives
  • Reduce traces of 1,4 dioxane from all of our baby products
  • Remove parabens from most of the new and improved baby products, ahead of the schedule 2015 goal

In addition, Johnson’s Baby wants to further prove their commitment to babies. Many are familiar with the Japanese tradition of making 1,000 origami cranes for a particular wish or hope. With a cute spin, Johnson’s Baby scientists and their families came together to make 1,000 origami storks as a promise to moms who, themselves, make promises to their children every day. Check out this “Our Promise” video, an open letter to moms that they will continue listening to mothers and ensuring the safety of their babies:

I personally appreciate when companies listen to their customers and tailor their products accordingly, especially when it comes to keeping our children safe. For more information on the changes, visit

I love when a company listens to their customers like this. It’s a sign of a truly great company!

  2. I always used Johnson and Johnson with my kids. I’m glad that they have redone their formula after listening to their consumers.

  3. I love Johnson’s baby products. I routinely use them with my daughter. She’s four, so there is still a big need for the “no tears” shampoo.

  4. I am so happy J&J has removed chemicals like parabens from their baby care products. Makes me want to refresh my stock!

  5. It’s 1 of the few things that my mom used, I used and now my own kiddos use! That says a lot about a company!

  6. I can’t tell you how happy I am to hear this… both my girls have very sensitive skin and we had to stop using Johnson’s so I would love to go back to them. Thanks for the heads up
