January 2013 Monthly Mini Model at Lego Store w/ Penguins & Igloo…
For a while now, LEGO stores have been featuring a free Monthly Mini Model Build. They rotate each month and the model for this month (January) was just so stinkin’ cute that I had to share – it’s an igloo with two penguins!!!
The event will take place this Tuesday, January 8th at your local LEGO Store. The event is for kids ages 6 to 14 and will begin at 5:00pm. Each child is invited to build this special model and take it home for FREE, but supplies are limited.
I’ll be running my daughter down to the store early just to make sure we get one for her. If she doesn’t want to keep it, she can give it to me

We’re pretty fortunate that the closest one is in our city mall.
Do you know if they’re strict about the age ranges? My kids are 3 and 5 and are obsessed with Legos.
I’m not sure. It’s probably a safety thing w/ choking, liability, etc. You could always call your local store and ask
