While we were driving around the north shore (of Lake Tahoe, California) looking for a spot we could bike, we happened to stop at one visitor area. The short path ended at a rocky beach. As we found out, this was not the best for biking HOWEVER it was awesome for skipping rocks. Practically every rock here was smooth and flat.

This was the first time that my husband and I were able to skip rocks successfully. We had a blast but my arms and shoulders were sore for the next few days. Yes, I look like a total dork with my bike helmet but I just didn’t feel like taking it off and then putting it back on again.

I’m so glad my husband got video proof that I did indeed skip three times. I may have even gotten in one that skipped four times but that is unconfirmed.
