Man, am I glad winter is over! It seemed like the gray skies and cold weather would never end. The past few months seemed especially tough to endure. Oh well, at least it’s over now and we can start enjoying spring!
So far this season has been great for us. In March, our family adopted our very first dog/puppy. While we love her immensely, it’s been a lot of work. In April, my husband and I celebrated our 11th wedding anniversary. We just spent the day hanging out together with our daughter.
So what’s happening in May? It’s the one-year blogoversary of Cookies & Clogs!
I launched Cookies & Clogs on May 7, 2010. At that time I had no idea what I was getting into and quickly found myself lost among a massive community of ‘mom bloggers’. In the past year I have learned about plug-ins, tweets, Facebook status, php, css, hashtags, giveaway hops, pitches, and more. I’ve ‘met’ a ton of wonderful bloggers that have both supported and inspired me. But it is the connection with you, the readers, that has really made an impact. (Insert ‘aww’ here.)
Well the official blogoversary is still a month away and I have more planning to do. It’d be a little silly for me to send out save the date cards for the big event so you’ll just have to stay tuned.
