Ah, summer is finally here! Since I homeschool my daughter, when she get’s summer break I do too! Plus, now that California is FINALLY getting some decent sun it really is starting to feel like summer. So far we’ve already been Disney World and the county fair. Oh, we also bought a family bowling pass back in April but haven’t yet used it – I had no idea we still had to pay shoe rental. Boo-hoo! Do you have any fun plans coming up?
I am planning on taking a trip to the San Diego area this summer. I want to go to LegoLand for sure! I might also try to see the San Diego Zoo or SeaWorld, not sure yet.
San Diego Safari Park is a must-see too!
Drue and I will be in San Diego this coming weekend for four days. Drue is currently there at a marine biology camp. She has Nike volleyball camp and another marine bio camp scheduled for this summer and we’re going to spend quite a few weekends camping in Yosemite with the dogs. We’re really looking forward to the summer! Do you have any big plans TerriAnn?
Wow, San Diego is the place to be this summer eh? My daughter is going to a 2-wk course next month and then in August I’ll be in San Diego for the BlogHer conference. BTW, Speckles loved the off-leash beach in Carmel – you should bring your bears there! Ooh, let me know where you stay in Yosemite if you like it – we’d like to hit that in the coming months as well!

Kodi has been heading to Fort Funston twice a week. If Rascal would heed the “come” command a little more diligently (such a BOY!) we would have both he and Marzi at Funston on a regular basis. We will definitely let you know about our Yosemite trips. A joint trip would be a lot of fun (and the pups could play, too!)!!! We’re looking at our calendars as soon as I get back from San Diego.
