Starting the Day off Right in Under 2 Minutes With Tyson® Day Starts™ #BetterBreakfast #TysonDayStarts

I admit it, I’m terrible at keeping a good morning routine. I’ve tried and tried but it is so hard to stick to a schedule when I work from home and homeschool my daughter. Most mornings, I’ll either skip breakfast or eat so late that it basically becomes my lunch. I just have so much to do that it’s tough to set aside time and to just eat. My daughter is old enough to get her own food but she tends to follow my example. Not good, I know. That’s why I was was interested in trying Tyson® Day Starts™ sandwiches.

There was a fairly good variety of products but I settled on getting the Eggs, Sausage, and Cheese Breakfast Flatbreads and the Colby and Monterey Jack Wrapped Omelets. There were also biscuit sandwiches but I’m not really a ‘biscuit’ kind of girl.

Tyson® Day Starts™ Sandwiches – Quick & Delish

What I found unique about these was the silver-lined packaging included for use in the microwave. When popping the flatbread in for 1 minute 30 seconds or the wrapped omelet for 1 minute 45 seconds, both came out with a nice crisp texture. This is very reminiscent of what you’d get if you cooked either on the stove, only it would take longer. So much nicer than the typical sogginess when cooking in the microwave!

The taste was simple but satisfying. Even my daughter enjoyed them and I didn’t have mom-guilt for feeding her these (the ingredients are pretty much what I’d use if making them from scratch). The flatbread was a little dry and it would have been nice to have a bit more ‘filling’ on it. I preferred the moist flavorful wrapped omelet. However, I would like to see more varieties of the wrapped omelets, maybe with spinach and mushrooms or something.

I’ve always felt that breakfast was an important meal as it affects your performance and eating habits for the rest of the day. But, making sure to eat it regularly first thing in the morning has been a challenge. Using Tyson® Day Starts™ products to get a good breakfast ready in less than two minutes will hopefully help change that. I only wish there were more items in each package.

Oh those wrapped omelets look good. I like keeping handy breakfast foods like this around, because I’m not so good at making breakfast otherwise either.

Wow, I can’t believe I haven’t seen these in stores yet. They look really tasty and a great way to start the mornings.

I’ll admit we don’t like or support Tyson but these look yummy!

The omelet sandwich sounds good! I’m really bad about eating breakfast, too, TerriAnn. I try to get so much done early in the mornings, which runs into late in the mornings before I stop, that it’s 11 am before I know it and I haven’t eaten, yet. I need something quick and easy.

I used to be a breakfast skipper like you, but since I now hit the gym fairly early, eating before my workouts are a must. I always enjoy exploring new yummy breakfast options so I’ll have to check these out!
