The new movie, War Horse, is obviously a historical fiction movie but how can you make use of that with your 8th to 12th grader? Scholastic released some interesting War Horse lesson plans to be used in the classroom and at home. My daughter is a bit young for these prompts but for those of you wanting to use War Horse as a teaching tool, this is a great resource.
