I am lucky enough to live very close to tha place, so we are usually down in that specific area about every 2 years. I think we are due soon for a trip! 🙂

Just beautiful. My grandfather hated going here. He thought there were just too many people that go there. Instead, we would stay at Cedar Breaks just outside of Cedar City, Utah. It is like a mini Bryce Canyon with more bristlecone pines. Then we would stop at Navajo Lake. I have been wanting to see that again. Perhaps when the weather gets cooler. Thanks for your beautiful pictures.

Surprisingly it was very quiet when we went. I guess it was before the Memorial Day and after spring break in mid- to late April. I also heard that King’s Canyon is a great place to see and much closer. Navajo Lake? Never heard of it but sounds like it’s worth a Google 🙂 Glad you liked the pics!

You took great pictures. I have the same…awesome. Did you say at one of the hotels near by?

We stayed at a little motel in Kanab. Great city to be in between Zion and Bryce but the motel itself was kind of dinky – wouldn’t recommend it.

In Kanab we always stay at the Comfort inn. It’s off the main strip where all the restaurants were when you come into town. Its clean and super comfortable. They always give me a great deal of $79 each time too!
