Yappy Hour at The Ritz-Carlton in Half Moon Bay #sfbay

UPDATE: The program has been so successful that it is now an on-going, monthly event!

The Ritz-Carlton in Half Moon Bay, CA is calling all dog lovers and inviting them to share in their upcoming evenings of Yappy Hour!

On the last Thursday of the next few months (August 30, September 28, and October 26), you can take your beloved dog(s) and relax on the resort’s Gazebo Lawn from 5pm -8pm. Your fuzzy companion will enjoy complimentary treats and flavored water. You can even order them something from the resort’s Pampered Pooch menu. A portion of all proceeds will be donated to the Peninsula Humane Society.

Don’t worry, doggy won’t be the only one feeling pampered. The Ritz-Carlton Spa will also be offering “Pooch and Parent” 15-minute massages. You can even choose to walk along the Coastal Trail or play some frisbee on the beach. What sounds most appealing to me is lounging by the firepit while taking in some soft music and fresh ocean air.

We’re proud that The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay is a pet friendly place, thanks to our fantastic Pampered Pooch Program. Yappy Hour is a great opportunity to help a great cause like the Peninsula Humane Society and introduce dogs and their humans to our gorgeous resort. – Jay Heidenreich, Director of Sales & Marketing.

I can’t wait to attend this along with my two-legged and four-legged family. We’ll also be exploring all the dog-friendly amenities of the resort soon – so stay tuned for that.
