With everyone pushing to ‘go green’ these days, it seems more and more are trying to make various changes. Bottled water generally tastes nice and is convenient, but it also leaves you with masses of empty bottles. Tap water is kind of hit-or-miss but usually ‘miss’. When we want to drink water versus just cooking with it, we usually fill up from the bathroom faucet versus from the kitchen as it strangely tastes cleaner, though we have no idea why.
For cleaner, healthier water many have tried various home filtration systems. We tried those filtered-water jugs but gave up. The water didn’t seem any different, the jug was cumbersome, and those filters were expensive as you had to change them fairly regularly. Other systems are very costly and I doubt they actually affect the quality of your water that much. Now Zuvo has come to the rescue with their new Zuvo 150 Water Filtration System.

The Zuvo 150 Water Filtration System retails for just under $150. The water is treated with a UV lamp which only needs to be replaced every six months, the same as the filter. The lamp is only 8W so it uses very little electricity. The system is so easy to install since you just screw it on. If you prefer, the Zuvo can also be easily installed under the sink to save counter space (additional attachment needed).

The water actually tastes better than our normal tap water. My husband uses the Zuvo for his coffee and said it makes a huge difference. It even oxygenates the water to give it a ‘pop’. Now I actually prefer to use a reusable bottle with Zuvo-filtered water versus a commercial water bottle. I can save money and the earth at the same time-how awesome is that?
So if healthier, cleaner, better-tasting, greener, less expensive doesn’t appeal to you? There’s one more thing that will. Watch the 65 second video below to see the Zuvo in action:
Have you ever seen a water filtration system look so cool? Yes, I probably need more hobbies. I’m really excited about this new product and think it’s a good investment for everyone.

I learned that the Zuvo Purator is not intended for disinfection of contaminated water or water that is microbiologically unsafe.
I learned the filter doesn’t take fluoride out of water.
Over time, Zuvo costs a fraction of what you’ll spend on bottled water or pitcher filters.
