The California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco will be holding their [2012 Spring Homeschool Day](http://www.calacademy.org/teachers/lounge/?p=3862&ref=cookiesandclogs.com) on 4/17\. There will be special programming from 9:30am-5:00pm such as Swamp Discovery and a scavenger hunt. Registration begins 3/27 for those signing up for Reserved Programs and on 3/29 for general admission. You must register by phone.

Here are a few pricing specifics:

> **San Francisco Homeschool Families**  
> Two adults may attend with their children (ages 4-17) for free.

> **Homeschool Families from outside San Francisco**  
> Two adults may attend with their children (ages 4-17) for only $6.95 per person.  
>  
> **Free Admission for Infants and Toddlers**  
> Children ages 0-3 are free, but please include them in your reservation so that we may monitor attendance.

> **Additional Chaperones**  
> Reservations for additional adult chaperones may be made at general admission prices ($29.95 for adults; $24.95 for college students and seniors).  
>  
> **Reserved Programs**  
> Although most Homeschool Day events are drop-in and covered in the price of admission, our reserved programs involve pre-registration due to capacity limits. These instructor-led classes involve a participation fee to cover the cost of materials. Fees are per participant, whether child or adult.
