Back-To-School Means . . .

Time to get back into an actual schedule! With the kids going back to school, it means you’ll be preparing more packed lunches and after-school snacks. Bread can get so monotonous sometimes but Mission – Back To School can help.

Mission Flour Tortillas can be found at reasonable prices in almost every US grocery store. They have no trans fat per serving and are cholesterol-free. Plus, they come in three sizes to accommodate for whatever you are making. They have a nice clean flavor and are not too doughy. I like to eat my tortillas with just butter sometimes so they are a bit thick for that. Otherwise they are a nice choice.

Have you ever tried making breakfast burritos? Scrambled eggs, bacon, cheese, avacado, potatoes, and grilled onions are a great treat for a hearty breakfast. For lunch you can use them for a quesadilla (with melted cheese) dipped in salsa mixed with sour cream. To go with a different flavor, Mission had a really tasty recipe on their site fore a Tuna Salad Wrap.

We always have tortillas in the house whether we want a quick snack or a filling, healthy dinner. I love the fact that my daughter can even throw some cheese or butter on, put it in the microwave, and make something for herself. So get creative and find out how versatile tortillas can be.

I am a big fan of Mission Tortillas. I buy them almost every time I go grocery shopping. I am yet to use them for a wrap though. Sounds good though!
