I don’t need more small kitchen appliances. Period. My cabinets are already full and my counter space has been claimed. With two toasters (one for regular bread and one for gluten-free bread), a rice cooker, a blender, an electric water cooker, a single-serve coffee maker, and a spot to let dishes dry, there’s simply no room. However, when I got a peek of the new ceramic collection from BELLA Housewares, I totally caved. How could I say no these?!

Kitchen | Household | Small Appliances | The new ceramic coated collection from BELLA offers non-stick small appliance for your kitchen that are affordable, easy to clean, and work great. The electric kettle and slow cooker with searing pot are especially impressive.

I always wanted a griddle, enjoy homemade waffles, had no idea to do with a skillet, love the look of the water kettle, and have been itching to replace my slow cooker. And that’s how the new items from BELLA made their way into my kitchen. Your place could be next. But, before we get to that, here’s a little breakdown of each product.

BELLA Housewares Ceramic Coated Collection

The non-stick ceramic coating on these appliances are PTFE and PFOA free. Not only does this coating lessen the need for cooking oils and sprays (yay to healthy eating) but it’s super easy to clean!

BELLA Ceramic Coated Griddle ($49.99)
I love how I can finally cook French Toast for the whole family at the same time. No more sitting by the stove flipping only two at a time. Then, I just wipe off the surface and throw some bacon, eggs, and sausage on there. When cooking eggs, I still suggest using some cooking spray since those stick to EVERYthing. Breakfast (or breakfast for dinner) is now done in no time. The drip tray can be easily removed for washing and the plug can be detached so you don’t have to worry about water damage.

BELLA Ceramic Coated Belgian Waffle Maker ($49.99)
The waffle maker is very easy to use. Just pour in batter, flip, and then flip again and remove when the green light indicates it’s done. The times we made waffles it was hit and miss. The dough didn’t seem to cook all the way through and I couldn’t really adjust the heat/timer to cook more evenly. This could have been because we were experimenting with different gluten-free batter recipes though. Excess batter also comes off the non-coated exterior fine. A removable plastic tray can catch dripping and washed separately. No cooking spray is needed and the waffles are a cinch to take out.

BELLA Ceramic Coated Skillet ($49.99)
Man, my curry chicken turned out amazing in this! I was able to first cook the chicken and then let it simmer with the sauce and other ingredients. The heat doesn’t go that low so I did have to make sure I kept an eye on it and the meal didn’t boil over. The skillet also has a removable plug so you can wash the skillet without worry.

BELLA Electric Ceramic Kettle ($69.99)
If you have only heated water in a traditional kettle over the stove, you don’t know what you’re missing (everyone in the Netherlands uses them). As for this one, it’s so pretty! The white kettle is accented with a modern silver foil design (comes in other foil colors) and the clear power switch illuminates in a gorgeous electric blue. The only problem is the kettle is super heavy. Filling the kettle with water and pouring it out really gives your arm a workout. You also have to be careful not to drop it since the ceramic body will likely break. But it looks so nice on the counter!

Water heats fast and it has an auto-shutoff in case the kettle is dry. The heat element is under a plate so there’s no worry of buildup in the water. Plus, the cord wraps beneath the base to save space.

BELLA Portable 6.5 QT. Slow Cooker with Searing Pot ($119.99)
This slow cooker is a one-stop cooking machine. You can place the inner pot right on the stove to cook meats and vegetables. Then, stick it in the slow cooker to finish the job. The digital timer makes it easy to set the time from 30 minutes to 20 hours on low, high, or warm setting. I had my pot roast cook for 8 hours on low but then threw some potatoes in for 30 minutes on high. It was amazing!

The lid is almost air tight and locks to prevent spills. It takes a little finesse to get used to the top but it really seals in that flavor! Usually, when I make pot roast, half of the meat gets stuck to the stoneware of my other crockpot. In the BELLA Slow Cooker, we could almost lick the pot clean. Not a single piece was stuck to the bottom! Washing was super easy as any leftover bit just came right off. Oh, and the inner pot is extremely light, not like the usual hernia-inducing stoneware insert.

BELLA Ceramic Coated Kitchen Appliances

Items from the BELLA Ceramic Coated Collection are impressive. My favorites are the kettle, slow cooker, and the griddle. The price for each is reasonable and the quality is good. I think BELLA did a great job in creating appliances that are easy to clean and can help you eat a bit better (minus extra cooking oils).

Now here’s your chance to win a set of the above collection (a $340 value). Just enter below!

I received these products for review purposes. All opinions are my own.

The slow cooker! The handle on ours is broken. It’s still usable but you have to be careful not to burn yourself when you try to take it off! And I would cook my THM recipe of cilantro lime chicken thighs. To begin with, anyway! I do freezer cooking most weeks, so it would get a ton of use!

Tina W February 20, 2016 - 1:11 am

I like the electric skillet, I’d use it for scrambled eggs.

Cathy Howard February 20, 2016 - 7:22 am

I so NEED the electric skillet. I have used one for years and with having four children it came in handy for cooking larger meals. Mine broke and I have been lost with it. I keep saying I have to get another one, but we live in a smaller town without many shopping choice that sell items like a skillet, and I just haven’t been able to get to the “city” to buy one yet.
One of the first meals I’d would cook in the Bella skillet if I should win, is a family recipe that I call “Pork Chop Stuff”…it doesn’t really have a proper name lol
It’s a wonderful dish that includes fried chops (cut into cubes), with sliced onions and put back into a salsa base and simmered until flavors incorporate and served with tortillas…it’s fabulous, YUM!

Thank you so much for a fun and needy giveaway!

I actually love all of them for different reasons based on what I cook at home, but my fave is the slow cooker. So much can be done with it, and I usually make a lot of slow cooker meals as I work FT outside the home and when I come home, dinner is ready. I think the first thing I’d make with this is some chili… perfect for a cold day with some warm cornbread on the side.
