Glow for a Cause with PartyLite – October 2012

by TerriAnn

Glow for a Cause” is a program from PartyLite in which they donate  $1 to the American Cancer Society for each purchase of a the Strawberry Rhubarb GloLite by PartyLite Jar Candle. (Read my review of GloLite candles here.)

During October, though, those proceeds specifically go to Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. Like me, I’m sure you know many loved ones that have been affected by this disease and look forward to a cure.

PartyLite is also hosting a special giveaway this month on their Facebook page. After ‘liking’ the page and watching the GloLite by PartyLite candle video, fans can:

  • Sign up for the giveaway and to be entered into a drawing for one of five Strawberry Rhubarb GloLite by PartyLite Jar Candles
  • Get three friends to watch the video and sign up, and be entered into a drawing for one of five $100 PartyLite Gift Certificates
  • Have the most friends entering to win a $200 gift certificate

If you plan on ordering candles for a cozy fall/winter, you might want to consider getting one of these and helping a great cause at the same time.

I will be receiving one of the above-mentioned candles for my participation in sharing this information. All opinions are 100% my own.

That is great that they donate a $1 for each sale of the Strawberry Rhubarb GloLite by PartyLite Jar Candle. Wonderful cause.

What a pretty candle …. I’m glad to see such a significant donation is part of the purchase.

It is pretty. I know $1 isn’t it much but it’s more than other companies donate from their proceeds so I’m glad about that!

VERY sweet. Sometimes it’s a bit much for me but it’s really nice to freshen up a room, especially when it starts to get musty from closed windows in the winter!
