The California Academy of Sciences will be holding their [Homeschool Day](http://www.calacademy.org/teachers/lounge/?p=2892.&ref=cookiesandclogs.com) on Tuesday, 10/18, from 9:30am to 5:00pm. San Francisco families may attend for free while those outside of San Francisco only pay $6.95 per person – that’s a huge savings! Much of the planned programming is included but additional programs will be available for reservation for a small fee. Whether or not you take advantage of these other programs you do need to register in advance as walk-ups will not get the discounted rates. Registration opens 9/29 so mark your calendar to order your tickets and get a spot in any other programs you want your children to participate in.
