Wordless Wednesday – In A Child’s Eyes #WW

by TerriAnn

My daughter’s doodle book prompted her to draw what was on the computer screen. It’s kind of neat to see her interpretation of our site.

She came up with it herself 😛

Well, it’s not her best work but it still turned out pretty good.

I thought it was funny that she wanted to draw the site in her doodle book 😛

The funny thing is, it’s practically right on!

Nice drawing! I love it. Such an important skill.

Thanks. She’s not very good at realism but is amazing when it comes to capturing small details.

Very cute! Plus her mom wears stylish pearl bracelets. 😉

Cookies & Clogs March 21, 2012 - 8:10 pm

Ha! I wish. Those had were pre-printed in the doodle prompt. I’m still working on getting a nice set of pearls 😛

Love how kids see the world through our eyes! 🙂

Well, I’ve been blogging for almost two years now so I was a bit surprised that she would want to include it in her precious doodle book!

I so love this- seriously! What a fun and neat idea!

I know – she’s WAY more creative than me and has fantastic ideas.

Beth March 21, 2012 - 9:42 am

Impressive! It must have been fun to see it through her eyes!

It was. I thought it was cute that she chose to feature the review I did of Zinkies and even redrew one of the photos I posted.

That’s a great drawing, she’s talented.

Cookies & Clogs March 21, 2012 - 8:36 pm

Thanks. This was just a quick doodle for her but I was surprised at certain details she added.

Amy March 21, 2012 - 11:51 am

that is awesome! She’s a good artist too!

Cookies & Clogs March 21, 2012 - 8:37 pm

Thanks. Poor thing had such a tough time drawing the clogs though 😛

Jenn @therebelchick March 21, 2012 - 12:18 pm

Ha! Your kiddo sure is creative!

Cookies & Clogs March 21, 2012 - 8:38 pm

Oh, yes, too much so sometimes. She’s always pulling things out of the recycling bin because she can ‘use’ them. We only have so much space for empty toilet paper rolls…

Mariah March 21, 2012 - 1:12 pm

What an artist! I’m impressed! I love this idea too!

Cookies & Clogs March 21, 2012 - 8:39 pm

That’s why I had to share 🙂

Carolyn G March 21, 2012 - 3:46 pm

That is so cool!! A loyal reader!

Cookies & Clogs March 21, 2012 - 8:39 pm

Oh, totally. She always complains that I don’t let her read my blog enough. Funny, I never thought she’d be my #1 fan 😛

Danielle @ Royalegacy March 21, 2012 - 5:52 pm

Aw..That’s cute! I can see she likes her mom’s blog.

Cookies & Clogs March 21, 2012 - 8:41 pm

I’m surprised by how much. I let her view my site on the iPad so she could reference it. The rest of the afternoon she was searching for posts, watching the videos (most of which featured her), and more. Silly munchkin!

ohkeeka [The Type A Housewife] March 21, 2012 - 6:13 pm

Aw, that is so cute! 🙂

Cookies & Clogs March 21, 2012 - 8:41 pm

I know, it was so sweet. It could also be a bad sign that when she sees a computer screen she thinks of me working on my blog 😛

jen March 21, 2012 - 8:07 pm

Very cute. K likes to “work” on her blog too. 🙂

Cookies & Clogs March 21, 2012 - 8:42 pm

Really? How cute! I really wonder what the blogs of the future will be like!
