One perk to being a Marriott Rewards® Ambassador is getting a complimentary one-night stay at ANY of their properties (excluding Ritz-Carlton). The thing is, though, Marriott owns so many properties. It was so tough to decide which one to book a room at.

Since we’ve been heading south quite a bit lately, my family and I decided to take a short trip north this time by heading up to Mt. Shasta and back down through California’s wine country. So, we stayed at The Lodge at Sonoma Renaissance Resort & Spa in Sonoma, California.
