### myCharge Transit 2600 Ready for Home & Car

The [myCharge Transit 2600](http://www.mycharge.com/products/transit?ref=cookiesandclogs.com) is compact and easy to carry. The LED battery indicator is easy to check and very clear to see. It is kind of bulky and a bit heavier than some other portable battery packs though.

Despite the extra width and weight, no cables are included so you have to make sure to bring your own. The benefit in using this is that it’s not as easy to lose as the smaller wall adaptors that come with your phone and that, while you’re in the car or near an outlet. You can charge the power pack at the same time as the phone. Then, when you’re not near a power source, the myCharge Transit 2600 will be fully loaded to use as your phone’s battery drains. The capacity is 2600mAh, which means you can charge your phone about 1-1/2 times from empty, giving you several more hours of talk and browsing time.

is a nice option and saves you from being stuck with a dead one and now way to charge it. It’s a bit basic and clunky, especially when you consider there’s a lot of competition to be small, light, and a large charge capacity. Also, I wish an extra space was built into it so you could store your own cable neatly inside as a nice all-in-one must-have. Still, it does what it needs to and it’d be a great, inexpensive charger to keep in the car glove compartment for emergencies.
