Summer is here and the kids are out of school. What now? Kidzmet.com was created to provide tons of enrichment activities for your children. It takes a lot of time and resources to even find things for your children now and also during the school year to add to their learning experience. Also, sometimes there are great programs but they don’t have to resources or know-how to let other know about them. Kidzmet.com was born to connect enrichment teachers with the students they were meant to teach by streamlining kids’ activities planning in one CENTRAL, easy-to-use portal. So far it is in it’s beginning stages but I think it could shape up to be a very useful tool.
I’ve had an opportunity to test it and see what the pilot area of Santa Barbara has to offer. I was able to easily spot ceramic and music classes and the clickable map gives me the exact location, name of business, and a contact number. Being a homeschooling parent, I am always looking to supplement my daughter’s academic education with art, physical activities, and social opportunities. I think this is a great idea to connect great programs with great kids. I look forward to when the user-base expands and I can actually make use for it in my area.
