Three years ago we bought a small ladybug Pillow Pet. Since then the Pillow Pet brand has surged in popularity. Who doesn’t know the jingle ‘It’s a pillow, it’s a pet. It’s a Pillow Pet’, these days. Even large retailers such as Target and Rite-Aid have began carrying them in-stock. These, of course, are the full-size pillows and my daughter has been coveting the dolphin one. Well, we were finally able to get one for her. Do you think she likes it as much as her mini-version and even though she is 10 years old now?

She loves it! Being used to the smaller size, this one looked HUGE to me.

Me: “It’s so big and fluffy.”
My daughter: “Mm-mmm. Just the way I like it.”

So it’s a hit. The larger size makes it so huggable and my daughter is even anxious for her next sleepover so she can stuff her items inside as pictured on the commercials. This is well worth the price too. There are ‘knock-offs’ available but they are not up to par. How so? Well they are just not as stinking cute as the original. That and they are just not made as well. Pillow Pets are very durable, with not a single thread loose. Plus, we can even stick it in the washing maching – how awesome is that?!

Here’s another look at the adorable fluffiness of the dolphin Pillow Pet. My daughter’s other Pillow Pet, Cindi, had to be in the picture as well so Squeaky Dolphin, now known as Finny, wouldn’t be lonely.

So now we have another ‘friend’ that will be joining us on car trips and other travels. Pillow Pets are functional and super-soft but the greatest thing is that it doubles as a toy. When traveling, we have found that having one item from home and one pet made my daughter feel comfortable in new surroundings. Now she only has to bring this one item!

I love how the site is much more organized and child oriented. The pillow pets being organized into categories (farm, zoo, ocrean, etc) make it much easier to find exactly what you’re looking for. The children that I babysitt enjoy playing the games and learning about their favorite pillow pet friends. I feel that the site encourages children to use their imagination. It also now better promotes the other products that “My Pillow Pets” has to offer (games, books, hats, blankets, etc) I’m also loving the new variety of pillow pets they have to offer. Very pleased with the site!

I could not get the games to load but I think that is a good way to further advertise the Pillow Pets to kids. I like the overall design of the site too. The look of it is fun and the way the different pets are organized in collections is neat.
