When I went to the 2016 Mom 2.0 Summit earlier this month, I had the opportunity to pop into the Best Buy suite there. A whole range of Samsung appliances were out on display and they looked so amazing. Though my attention usually goes straight to any dishwashers nearby, this time my gaze instantly fell upon a particularly shiny and tech-loaded refrigerator.
The Family Hub refrigerator has a touchscreen tablet built into the upper right door. Write your grocery list, leave notes for the family, and more with this cool piece of tech that every family will adore. However, the feature that really wowed me was the FlexZone in the lower right section. You can adjust this are to be cool or freezing. Being able to switch the space from refrigerator to freezer will make life so much easier. Sometimes you have more need for one type of cooling than the other and this option gives you that “flex”-ibility. Nice, right?
In addition to the sweet Family Hub refrigerator, Best Buy carries several other Samsung appliances. These include the Activewash Washer with built-in sink, the Flex Duo oven with a duel-door slide-in range, and the Waterwall dishwasher. There was no way of walking into this suite and not walking out wanting one or all of the new items. Professional chefs and freshly-cooked food samples using some of the equipment compounded the idea that I needed everything in my home like yesterday.
My only regret was not spending more time in the suite to play with all of the items on display. There was also a full itinerary of guest chefs and I so should have attended. In either case, this area was set up so nicely and I loved being able to try these items out myself.
