Getting to Know Sprint Phone Plans, Services, and Pricing

I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Sprint. I received product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for my participation.

New technology is fun and exciting. It can also be confusing. Fortunately, I was able to meet up with some Sprint representatives to get some burning questions answered. I also learned about the current offers that have running including details on pre-paid, direct services, and how to get that new shiny iPhone 6S!

Sprint Phone Plans, Services, and Pricing

The first question I had was why the Sprint San Mateo Regional Event was being held at the RadioShack in an Mateo, CA. It turns out that Sprint bought 1400 RadioShack stores to implement a “store within a store” concept. Now RadioShack customers can easily purchase Sprint devices and services and Sprint customers benefit from having a local retail location to visit while scoring deals on electronic items at the same time. It’s a win-win for both brands.

It always seems that, as soon as you buy a device, a new one comes out and makes yours obsolete (or at least that’s what it feels like). With the iPhone Forever plan, you can get the latest iPhone whenever a new one is available. Plus, if you trade in your old phone, you get a discounted rate. Just pay $15 to $19 per month, on top of your Unlimited or Family Share Plan, and upgrade to each new iPhone forever with no other fees. Who wants the Rose Gold iPhone 6S Plus? Me!!!

Don’t have the time or the energy to head into the store to upgrade and set up your new phone? No problem. With Sprint’s Direct 2 You service, a trained representative will bring the phone and service to you. They can meet you at your home, office, or somewhere else. The service is free. So why get out of those pajamas and jump in the car when Sprint can come to you?!

Sometimes prepaid plans just work better. For example, if you’re getting your child their first phone, you might not want to get them the latest and greatest fancy-schmancy phone. A hefty monthly phone bill with surprise data charges won’t look very enticing either.

With Boost Mobile, you can get the $30 Data Boost Up plan with unlimited talk, text, and data with 2GB of high-speed data for $30 per month. After those 2GB, they’ll still get unlimited data but it will be throttled later. That’s plenty for checking in with Mom and Dad but not enough to goof off while watching streaming movies. Automatic payments with Auto Re-Boost must be set up first to be eligible for that special though.

As a gift each of the bloggers in attendance at the event received a brand new Sprint LG G4 to keep and play with, including three months of service. I haven’t had a chance to try the new phone yet but I will be using it a lot during the next few events I have coming up! I’ve heard that the camera is amazing and I can’t wait to try the selfie and dual camera features!
