Gah! Wires! I don’t mind them so much at home but they are a serious pain when traveling or just out doing errands. They get tangled with everything and I can never seem to find them when needed most, like when my phone battery is at 1% and I need to connect to my portable charger ASAP – oops! Thanks to some not-so-nice firsthand experiences, I am very keen on portable chargers right now that do not require carrying extra chargers. Do such products exist?
I’ve had the opportunity to try out two items from TYLT that fit the above description. One is a phone case for my iPhone 6 Plus with a battery that slides on and the other is a standalone charger that has both a lightening cable and a micro-USB cable tucked into it. Both offer about a 3/4 charge for my phone and keep me running until I can get home for a full recharge.
