Today’s word of the day is – Monroney!
The sheet attached to the rear window of a new (or used from a dealer) car for sale. Contains model information, included equipment, optional features, listed MSRP price, fuel economy, and safety rating. Also known as a ‘window sticker’.
Commonly referred to as just a ‘Monroney’. Named after the Oklahoma senator who supported the passage of the Automobile Information Disclosure Act of 1958, making it mandatory to list the above on all new cars in the U.S. See more about Mr. Sticker here.
