As we lug around all the baby equipment we lose socks, bottles, pacifiers, etc. As our children get older we lose even more such as toys, pencils, bags, and even clothes. When school events, play dates, and sleepovers are involved you might as well consider everything your child brings to be disposable since at least one or two things will be absent when they come home. On the flip side, I always find little things that my daughter’s friends have left including bows, sweaters, and goodies bags. Is that just it? Is there nothing we can do to keep from losing items? Of course not! Just use Mabel’s Labels, ‘labels for the stuff kids lose’!

I must admit that, initially, I was skeptical at just how useful these labels would be. I only have one child so it’s pretty easy to keep track of her stuff. Last week we could not find my daughter’s purse. We looked everywhere we had been and all around the house (we were stuck inside while sick). We could not find it. After somewhat losing hope, I got a call on my cell phone. It was the facility at which my daughter takes her swimming lessons. They had her purse! Apparently, they had the purse for a while but just noticed the tag on it with her name and my phone number. It worked! The Mabel’s Labels Teeny Tag worked!

Not only are their items cute and colorful, but they are oh-so handy. The Mini-Labels are great for pencils, rulers, scissors and anything else that they might bring to school. I love the size of these as they are so versatile. You can even put them on their lunch items as the labels stick very well and are microwave/dishwasher safe, though I have not had a chance to try that yet. I also like that they are waterproof because spills and accidents come with the ‘parent’ territory.

These are just two of items that Mabel’s Labels offers. You can also order personalized clothing labels, household labels, allergen alerts, and even ‘mama’ cards. They come in a variety of designs and colors (my daughter just happens to like turquoise/teal) and are just plain cute. I only wish I had known about these sooner!
