We personally use the Tide Cold Water and that seems to work the best for us without causing allergic reaction. We tried others but this just seems to work for us. Plus, it&#8217;s easy to get it in bulk to drop the cost.<\/p>\n<p>To celebrate Tide&#8217;s Anniversary. Procter &amp; Gamble (P&amp;G) is releasing retro-packaged Tide, Bounce, and Downy. You can find them at Target during the month of May, while supplies last.\u00a0These are special-edition packages that feature the label from 1947.<\/p>\n<p>I get a kick out of some of the old advertisements. The pictured housewives seemed to love getting all dressed up to do their favorite household chore of laundry.\u00a0Some of the text on the label reads:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<ul>\n<li>Washday soaps? Jane tried \u2018em all, And every new detergent. But, none matched Tide \u2013 and so she cried, \u201cPlease send some Tide! It\u2019s urgent!\u201c<\/li>\n<li>Detergents, soaps, she tried them all and wasn\u2019t satisifed &#8230; But now his shirts are dazzling clean! Smart girl &#8230; she turned to Tide!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>How things have changed! In our home my husband actually does all the laundry &#8211; he&#8217;s better and more efficient at it than I am. If I am ever forced to do it, something always goes wrong so I just stay clear of it.
