It wasn’t until we moved into our complex that I realized what an ordeal just bringing groceries home could be. Shopping once a week requires quite a haul of bulky, heavy items from the underground parking, up the elevator, down the hall, then into our home. We tried getting different carts but they were so awkward to put items in and took up a ton of trunk space even when folded down.

After much comparison shopping and justifying the $60 price tag we finally decided on the Magna Cart Flatform 4-Wheeled Hand Truck. Having a flat surface with four wheels is very versatile when placing bags and boxes on it and you don’t struggle with heavy items or balancing them as you do with a two-wheeled dolly. My favorite feature is that it folds down to only 3″ for easy transport.

After using it for a few weeks, we really like it. Even when the ground is a bit uneven, the cart is sturdy enough so nothing shakes off. Some reviewers complained that the two swiveling wheels should have been placed on the other side but it actually works perfectly if you PULL the cart behind you. This takes less effort to move and gives you better control anyway.
