I don&#8217;t know if you can still get this game anywhere but it&#8217;s worth the search!<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>I know of a hidden gem that I have not shared with you until now. It&#8217;s a cute, sweet, and somewhat addictive computer game called Fashion Cents Deluxe by a small one-man developer of My Game Company. My daughter (and I) have been enjoying this game for several years and it just never loses its charm.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-17164\" title=\"fashioncents01\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cookiesandclogs.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/02\/fashioncents01.jpg\" alt=\"Fashion Cents Deluxe PC Mac Computer Game\" width=\"305\" height=\"229\" \/><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-17165\" title=\"fashioncents02\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cookiesandclogs.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/02\/fashioncents02.jpg\" alt=\"Fashion Cents Deluxe PC Mac Computer Game\" width=\"305\" height=\"229\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Fashion Cents Deluxe is a simple dress-up game available to download on PC, Mac, and Linux platforms. You are given 10 dolls\/models to clothe in matching shirts, hats, jackets, pants, skirts, shoes, and accessories. I really like the art style used in this game. As you can see, the unclothed girls are still modest and not &#8216;sexy&#8217; in anyway and, in my opinion, very innocent and basic. To complete an outfit, you need to have one of each main component &#8211; some head accessory, a top, a bottom, and shoes. The styles and colors these are presented in vary greatly. Some items are even two-toned, allowing you to coordinate with more color combinations. Each completed outfit is sent to the shopping bag in the left column and counts toward the required ten outfits to progress to the next level.<\/p>\n<p>There are a ton of styles that are covered including cowboy, princess, country, cheerleader, casual, and beachwear. Jewelry, purses, and pets are some of the extras you can add to your doll for extra points. Completing several outfits in a row allows you to accrue multiple bonuses, though this is a bit harder for younger ones to master. The sound bits are reminiscent of a valley-girl fashionista with &#8220;Are you ready to go shopping?&#8221;, &#8220;Eiuw!&#8221;, &#8220;Oh, yeah!&#8221;, and more. The little phrases make my daughter giggle a bit and have her repeating them as she plays. The upbeat background music is also a nice touch. When you get stuck, or as levels continue to get harder, several &#8216;wild&#8217; pieces can be used such as a credit card for any one item, bleach to change the color, or white\/black\/denim clothes that can be used with any outfits.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-17166\" title=\"fashioncents03\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cookiesandclogs.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/02\/fashioncents03.jpg\" alt=\"Fashion Cents Deluxe PC Mac Computer Game\" width=\"305\" height=\"229\" \/><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-17167\" title=\"fashioncents04\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cookiesandclogs.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/02\/fashioncents04.jpg\" alt=\"Fashion Cents Deluxe PC Mac Computer Game\" width=\"305\" height=\"229\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The nice thing about this program is that it is very well maintained. Several clothing add-on packs are available and free to those that purchase the program. The customer service is quick and helpful as your main contact is also the creator of the game. This game has simple drag and drop functions and children as young as three or four can enjoy it. There are easy, normal, and hard settings depending on the player. On the hard setting, I can only get to 5 or 6 at most so you know that the challenge potential is definitely there for older players.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-17168\" title=\"fashioncents05\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cookiesandclogs.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/02\/fashioncents05.jpg\" alt=\"Fashion Cents Deluxe PC Mac Computer Game\" width=\"305\" height=\"229\" \/><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-17169\" title=\"fashioncents06\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cookiesandclogs.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/02\/fashioncents06.jpg\" alt=\"Fashion Cents Deluxe PC Mac Computer Game\" width=\"305\" height=\"229\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Fashion Cents Deluxe only costs $9.99 and is a huge bargain. I can&#8217;t even remember when we bought it but it must have been five or six years ago &#8211; and we are still playing it! If you enjoy the idea but have boys, My Game Company recently released a Fashion Cents Gents version which may appeal to you.
