We got full reception and had the convenience of calling\/receiving calls while away from home. It was so nice being able to just pick up the phone and talk away, without worrying about any extra costs. While there, a friend of mine received some great news and wanted to share it with me. We were able to talk at length and I didn’t get a neck cramp dealing with my cell phone or deal with spotty connectivity asking, “Can you hear me now?” every few minutes or so.<\/p>\n

You’ve already read my FAQ<\/a> on the service but I haven’t told you what I think of it yet. Since the device’s external antenna boosts any signal in range, even we get two out of three bars of reception (our apartment building itself is basically a dead zone). Our phone calls have been mostly clear with no drops. I also really like the fact that Home Phone Connect has a battery backup and GPS for emergency situations, not like the VOIP systems we’ve relied on in the past.<\/p>\n

Verdict: I would recommend this service if you want the benefits of a landline for only $20 per month.<\/p>\n
