"centsWhen I was in New York last month, I learned of an online accessory company called Cents of Style. They carry a wide range of affordable purses, belts, shoes, jewelry, etc. and shipping is always free. The representative there (who turned out to be the founder) helped accessorize the fairly plain outfit I was wearing that evening. I never would have thought to pair a sea green with bright coral!

After getting back home, I had the chance to peruse their inventory. They had a lot of cute stuff and the prices were awesome, even offering $6 earrings and $20 shoes! The quality of the items is as expected of costume jewelry and discount accessories. For example, I received two pairs of earrings – one pair has been great while the other was already broken in the package. The items are not ‘cheap’ but they are not authentic leather/gold/name-brand items either.

Cents of Style lives by two mottos. One, you do not have to spend a lot to look great, and two, when you look good, you feel good.

I mentioned that Cents of Style also carries shoes. If you haven’t picked up on it yet, I love shoes and couldn’t pass up the opportunity to pick a pair to review. As platform heels have been all the rage lately, I decided to get the Tricia-02, multi-colored snakeskin pumps.

Aren’t they cute?! The pumps fit my feet well but I probably could have gone a half-size smaller as my heels slip out (I added grips in the photos above). I love the way they look and actually feel fashionable while wearing them, which is not an adjective I typically apply to myself. When I learn to walk in them and can stand still without falling over, they will be great for dressing up jeans, slacks, skirts, and/or dresses. I usually wear flats or 3″ heels max so wearing these will take a bit of practice and getting used to.

So the next time you’d like to add some new accessories to your stash, check out Cents of Style. With free shipping and the latest styles at your fingertips, at a fraction of the price elsewhere, you’ll definitely like what you see!
