All I remember of it, frankly, was the shrimp scampi. I&#8217;m not sure why we never went back but it could have been related to my dad&#8217;s dislike of seafood.\u00a0Obviously, a lot has changed since then and it was about time I gave this place another go, but this time with my husband and daughter.<\/p>\n<p>The restaurant was surprisingly busy. It&#8217;s a good thing we had to wait about 15 minutes to be seated since it gave us a chance to look at the menu. I was shocked at how many items there were to choose from! After 44 years, Red Lobster made huge changes to its menu with fifteen $15 Maine Stays, the 4-course feast for $16.99,\u00a028 new non-seafood dishes, and lighter-style options. Even the kids&#8217; menu had a healthy but tasty selection.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-35557 alignnone\" alt=\"Red Lobster New Restaurant Menu\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cookiesandclogs.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/redlobster01.jpg\" width=\"370\" height=\"278\" \/>\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-35558\" alt=\"Red Lobster Restaurant Dinner Family Entree\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cookiesandclogs.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/redlobster02.jpg\" width=\"370\" height=\"278\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Our meal started with Cheddar Cheese\u00a0biscuits, followed by our included salads. Just as we were finishing, our meals came out. My daughter absolutely loved her Shrimp Linguini Alfredo but the rest of our food was just okay. The good news is that none of us got sick! That&#8217;s a huge issue for us lately when eating out. That in itself gets extra stars in my book. The service was great and we had plenty of time to make it to the movies afterwards.<\/p>\n<p>We couldn&#8217;t tell much about the decor it had already gotten dark outside and inside the lighting was fairly dim.
