\"\"<\/a>Sometimes, as women, we can cause our own stereotypes. I usually let my husband take care of anything having to do with our cars. It’s not that I’m not capable of doing it, I just think it’s more of a ‘guy’ thing. I am also afraid that I will be taken advantage of since I can’t list the number of spark plugs, our average RPM, how many cylinders or the model number of our engine off the top of my head. Not everyone is under the impression that women know less about cars but I don’t feel like I am the model candidate to prove any different.<\/p>\n

There is nothing wrong with women taking care of their vehicles. In fact, when you are the main driver for your family on a day-to-day basis it’s vital that you maintain your car and have a good idea of how to keep it running safely. Plus, if you are a regular reader to my site, you are probably not in the position to get a ‘spanking’ new car every year. Therefore we need to keep it as nice as possible despite all the wear-and-tear the kids’ shoes, toys, snacks, and spills inflict on it daily.<\/p>\n

This is a new place that you can go to get tips on how to get the most out of your vehicle. Find photos and stories of other who have kept the car in good condition despite a lot of miles and share your own.<\/p>\n
