Juice, water, juice, water, juice . . . You can get creative with the types of food you include in your children’s lunches but not the drinks. Options for pre-packaged drink packs, especially healthy ones, are somewhat slim. Have you heard of Drazil Kids Tea? Drazil makes a great beverage that’s caffeine-free, includes fruit juices, is gluten- and dairy-free, has no added sugar, and is perfectly-sized for on-the-go refreshment. Plus, the logo mascot is cute (Drazil is backwards for lizard) 😀

When the box arrived at my house, it was slightly damage and tea was seeping through. Apparently, some of the drink boxes had been punctured. That meant we only had 4 of the 8 packs of “Yummy Berry”, which ended up being my daughter’s favorite flavor.

I brought the Drazil tea boxes to a pool party my daughter went to a few weeks ago. The ingredients sounded good but would the kids like it? I was curious to find out. Unfortunately, the kids had so much fun in the pool that they barely came out to eat or drink. Strike ONE.

My next attempt was during a play date to the park. This time it worked out perfectly. The girls all had different flavors and they all enjoyed them. My daughter did report that the drinks tasted good but were a bit ‘watery’. The grape flavor did not make the cut though as it was a little too close to tasting like medicine.

Drazil costs about $4.99 to $5.99 per 8-pack. Nor Cal residents can find the products at local neighborhood spots such as Berkeley Bowl, Nugget Markets, The Nature Stop, and Draegar’s in Menlo Park. With only brewed organic herbal tea and juice, it’s no wonder such stores are happy to carry it and more will be on-board soon. It can also be purchased online at Amazon"".
