Of course I wanted to test out a car that so many seem loyal to. On the other hand, I had never been a fan of the design. I&#8217;m sooooooo glad that the 2014 model got an all-new design!<\/p>\n<p>With a graphite exterior and leather interior, this was not the old station-wagon previously pictured in my mind. The 2014 Subaru Forester is more like a smaller crossover that gave you both height and security.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-46112\" alt=\"2014 Subaru Forester - Family Crossover\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cookiesandclogs.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/subaru-forester-01.jpg\" width=\"650\" height=\"365\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.cookiesandclogs.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/subaru-forester-01.jpg 650w, https:\/\/www.cookiesandclogs.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/subaru-forester-01-292x164.jpg 292w, https:\/\/www.cookiesandclogs.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/subaru-forester-01-585x329.jpg 585w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 650px) 100vw, 650px\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>2014 Subaru Forester &#8211; The 4th Generation<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Several factors set this model apart from its predecessors. It includes:<\/li>\n<li>All-new design with improved performance, economy, comfort and space<\/li>\n<li>Up to 32 mpg estimated highway fuel economy<\/li>\n<li>New 250-hp direct-injection turbocharged 2.0-liter BOXER engine available<\/li>\n<li>New 6-speed manual transmission for 2.5i models<\/li>\n<li>New Lineartronic\u00ae CVT, with 2.0XT also featuring 6-speed and 8-speed manual shift modes<\/li>\n<li>Enhanced Active AWD system with X-Mode and Hill Descent Control<\/li>\n<li>Available EyeSight\u00ae driver assist technology<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>So how did I like it?
