Are you ready for it?<\/p>\n<p>Yep, in a few short months, school to be out and summer vacation will be here before we know it. One way to keep all involved parties happy is to start planning some fun summer activities. During the summer, this organization offers two very special summer camp programs throughout various counties in the Bay Area. Camp Edmo is designed for children entering\u00a0K-4th grade while Camp EdTech is geared toward those entering 5th \u2013 8th grade.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>At camp, children participate in hands-on activities, develop a love of learning and build the skills necessary to thrive, communicate, collaborate, problem solve and think creatively. Edventure More\u2019s one-of-a kind life skills programs, The Edmo and EdTech Vibe games, promote and reinforce these traits to prepare children for the future and put them on the road to becoming happy and successful adults.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h3>Camp Edmo &#8211; K-4th<\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-46938\" alt=\"Edventure More Summer Camp Programs - Camp Edmo &amp; Camp EdTech in the SF Bay Area #SFBay\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cookiesandclogs.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/edventure-01.jpg\" width=\"125\" height=\"125\" \/>In Camp Edmo, attendees get the opportunity to enjoy\u00a0arts &amp; science, animation, nature, and recreation activities. These were designed as a collaborative effort with\u00a0California Academy of Sciences and the Children\u2019s Creativity Museum. In 2014, summer camp themes include\u00a0Edibles, Magic &amp; Medieval Times, Critterville, Planet Power, and more.<\/p>\n<h3>Camp EdTech &#8211; 5th-8th<\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-46939\" alt=\"Edventure More Summer Camp Programs - Camp Edmo &amp; Camp EdTech in the SF Bay Area #SFBay\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cookiesandclogs.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/edventure-02.jpg\" width=\"125\" height=\"125\" \/>Middle school students can choose to create android- compatible apps, use hardware and software to control analog components like lights and buzzers, make, direct, edit &amp; star in their own short films and animations, develop 2-D and 3-D video games, or express their unique perspective of the world via digital photography. Optional Extended Day: Media Lab. Taught by industry pros and designed with the Children\u2019s Creativity Museum. At Camp EdTech, kids develop tech skills and life skills like creativity, awareness, collaboration and leadership.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Locations:<br \/>\nSan Francisco, Marin, Contra Costa, Alameda, Santa Clara and San Mateo counties<\/li>\n<li>Dates:<br \/>\nJune 9 \u2013 August 22 (varies by location)<\/li>\n<li>Times:<br \/>\nMonday &#8211; Friday, 9:00am &#8211; 3:00pm (extended day and lunch options available)<\/li>\n<li>Price:<br \/>\nCamp Edmo starts at $369\/week, Camp EdTech starts at $469\/week (may vary by location, check for discounts)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Great options, right? I&#8217;m signing Munchkin up for 3-D Video Gaming in July.
