I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for CLn Skin Care. I received product samples to facilitate my review as well as a promotional item to thank me for my participation.

For years I’ve battled with mild eczema and, unfortunately, passed some of that onto my daughter. Especially with Munchkin’s chemical changes as a new teen, it’s been a challenge to find good facial and body cleansing products. After reading a bit about the benefits of CLn Skin Care products for those suffering from skin issues like eczema and other issues, we decided to give the CLn BodyWash and CLn Facial Cleanser a try. By ‘we’ I mean that I decided to try it and then encouraged my daughter to give it a go as well.

CLn Skin Care Products: CLn BodyWash

The CLn BodyWash was smooth going on and rinsed off easily. Neither of us noticed too much of a difference while using the product. We did, however, take note of the changes to our skin after the product had run out. My eczema started to flare up again on my legs and I had to go back to taking daily allergy pills to lessen the effects. I took it for granted that my skin hadn’t given me many problems in the preceding weeks when using CLn. As for my daughter, she forgot about the dryness on the backs of her hands until it returned.

The CLn BodyWash was the first of the two bottles to run out as twice as many pumps of product are suggested for use ( 3-4 pumps). I wish we had more of this to use. The body wash we had to go back to, though also dermatologist-approved for eczema, just isn’t cutting it any more. You don’t know what you have until you lose it or, in this case, until the bottle is empty.

Now the results of using the CLn Facial Cleanser came along much quicker.

The first week or so my face did feel itchy and irritated. It was not noticeable by others but it was definitely not a nice experience for me. After that initial period, the irritation did go away. My pores were smaller and my skin was moist all the time, but in a good way. Sometimes I did feel like my skin was more oily versus having a ‘glowing’ finish. My *ahem* monthly acne did not change.

While my daughter did notice the dryness on her cheeks and near her mouth went away, she also had no change with acne and blackheads. Either we need a facial cleanser that’s either a bit more aggressive in cleaning out excess oil, add a gentle scrub to our regimens, or just use the wash a second time every day.
