2014 Mitsubishi Mirage Review<\/h3>\n

The 2014 Mitsubishi Mirage is a cute, compact car that delivers when it needs to at a price that’s pretty doable. I was surprised at how nimble and comfortable the Mirage is and that it handled city driving just fine.<\/p>\n

The amount of power this little vehicle could put out is surprising. On the highway, I could average about 41 mpg if I was really careful but on inclines, that dropped to about 30 mpg. By the way, the blue we had this in is a snazzy color but not so bright that it’s obnoxious, one I’d be embarrassed to be seen in.<\/p>\n

The small size is fantastic for parking and fitting into tight spots during busy shopping times. However, the hatchback and fold down seats provide more than enough room for weekly shopping. Just make sure you don’t have kids filling up all the seats just in case you need more space.<\/p>\n

\"2015<\/p>\n

Interior and Features<\/h3>\n

Bluetooth was easy to set up and had clear audio.\u00a0The back up camera made orientation while backing up easy since you have a the bumper in the screen for quick reference. Frans was not impressed by the plastic dash and interior trim. It just felt very basic and “no frills” to me but I thought it was fine overall. The entire layout inside is about the same and very simple.<\/p>\n

The exception is the added navigation option. With a bright\u00a0screen and good resolution, it was pretty nice to have this feature when traveling. The angle of the screen could be adjusted and flipped sideways to allow access to the CD slot (6-CD disc changer). This might seem out of place in such an economy car but it’s always nice to have the option of such features if you wanted them.<\/p>\n

The back seat has a decent amount of room, more than I’d expect in a car this size. I love how the seatbelt buckles tuck in and that the second row is flat. This really maximizes the hip space there.<\/p>\n

\"2015<\/p>\n

The 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage is a great choice for the size, price, and gas mileage. While this might not be ideal for small families, it’s perfect for commuters and singles\/couples. An uphill route\u00a0drops the gas mileage significantly so that is definitely a factor to consider when buying this though.\u00a0The Mirage might\u00a0be ideal as a first car or for college students.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
