At\u00a0the\u00a0North American International Auto Show in Detroit, MI last week, Verizon announced a\u00a0new\u00a0service that will be coming in the spring of 2015 \u2013 Verizon Vehicle.\u00a0This new subscription-based service will be\u00a0compatible with most cars sold in the U.S. from 1996 onward and it is not dependent on which mobile carrier you use. Members can also get discounts on travel needs.<\/p>\n

Verizon Vehicle will help consumers finally figure out what that “check engine” light refers to, provide\u00a0access to live assistance, and offer roadside assistance based on your GPS location. \u00a0This reminds me of the Delphi device that was offered but in a more robust and functional package.<\/p>\n
