As we greeted Jeremy Renner and Cobie Smulders with a\u00a0round of applause. Cobie had already sat with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cookiesandclogs.com\/interview-with-cobie-smulders-aka-maria-hill-in-marvels-the-avengers-theavengersevent\/\">groups like ours<\/a> before so it was no big deal to her. However, Jeremy seemed nervous, if not a bit giddy. I guess he didn&#8217;t know what to expect when his schedule said he&#8217;d be meeting with &#8220;mommy bloggers.&#8221;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>RENNER: Ooh, I feel like a fox in the hen house.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Cobie tried to point out the couple of dad bloggers in the group but Jeremy wasn&#8217;t having it. For some reason, he seemed to really like the idea. He even sent out this tweet after out interview. Too funny!<\/p>\n<p><center><\/center><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" lang=\"en\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Just sat with an army of &#8220;mommy bloggers&#8221; Didn&#8217;t know that was a thing til now, but I LOVED it!! <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/aou?src=hash\">#aou<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/marvel?src=hash\">#marvel<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Jeremy Renner (@Renner4Real) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Renner4Real\/status\/586946526921932800\">April 11, 2015<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script src=\"\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" async=\"\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Anyway, let&#8217;s get back to that interview. It&#8217;s hard to really understand the role Jeremy plays as Hawkeye in Age of Ultron unless you\u00a0know one\u00a0crucial bit of information. It&#8217;s a HUGE spoiler though. But maybe it\u2019s because this is our second one and we all get along so well that I don&#8217;t feel that divide on set. All the guys are really great and nice, and handsome, every single one of them, some more than others. We have some other strong females, Scarlett and now <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cookiesandclogs.com\/avengers-elizabeth-olsen-aaron-taylor-johnson\/\">Lizzie<\/a>, and it\u2019s just nice seeing more women coming into these films.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Q:\u00a0Did you have a favorite scene to shoot for the film?<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>RENNER: I don&#8217;t believe in favorites. I think they&#8217;re all equally torturous and wonderful.<\/p>\n<p>SMULDERS: I shot all of my scenes in Stark Tower, in the Avengers Tower now it\u2019s called. How amazing was that set?! It was all one set. I mean anytime that anyone was in the lab that was still on the same set.\u00a0Where Tony was working on his suits was right below it. Then the bar was just a few feet away, thank goodness. To me, it was really cool to play all these scenes out in one location\u00a0and it really sort of helped with performance as well.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<div id=\"attachment_52216\" style=\"width: 660px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-52216\" class=\"wp-image-52216 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cookiesandclogs.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/avengers-ultron-jeremy-colbie-02.jpg\" alt=\"Movies | Celebrities | Exclusive Marvel Avengers Age of Ultron Interview with Jeremy Renner aka Hawkeye and Cobie Smulders aka Maria Hill. And then what was the hardest scene for you both to film?<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>RENNER: When there&#8217;s a lot of movie parts that&#8217;s where it gets a little tricky. The moving parts aren&#8217;t really there in real life. So that&#8217;s a little trickier. You&#8217;re stabbing things with arrows that don&#8217;t exist and then firing arrows that don&#8217;t exist to things that don&#8217;t exist.\u00a0It\u2019s a little tricky to be precise with it and the camera angles. It\u2019s just technical. That makes it quite difficult because all moving parts. But to me I think it\u2019s fun because it\u2019s like a dance and there&#8217;s a technique to all that stuff. It is quite arduous.<\/p>\n<p>SMULDERS: Every time these movies come up, a couple months before you start working out. I did a few stunts in\u00a0this one, not as much as the super heroes in the film. But, it\u2019s good to get in shape. In terms of the most difficult scene, I feel like in this movie there&#8217;s a lot of scenes where we\u2019re all in the scene together.<\/p>\n<p>These scenes, we take multiple days to shoot them because there&#8217;s so much coverage. On the third day you&#8217;re like, &#8220;Wait, what are we doing?\u00a0What is the scene? What did I say?&#8221; You sort of feel like you&#8217;re in this Groundhog&#8217;s Day where you&#8217;re doing the same thing over and you&#8217;re trying to remember exactly how you did it the day before. That&#8217;s challenging. It&#8217;s not a hard thing but it can get a bit tiring.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Q:\u00a0Jeremy, you had a bigger role in this movie. And I have a feeling that as soon as it comes out and all the kids see it and all the parents see it that your character\u2019s just gonna explode. How do you feel about that? Are you ready for that?<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>RENNER:\u00a0I think the greatest thing that I get out of this whole experience of being in this giant movie and the one prior is,\u00a0artistically it doesn\u2019t really hit a lot of like nerves in my body, but soon as a five year old ran up to me that changed the game. I\u2019m like, &#8220;Oh, wow, I have a five-year-old fan!&#8221; And that&#8217;s amazing. Then here comes his dad in the same costume&#8230;that&#8217;s the creepy part.<\/p>\n<p>But when the little kids come on up to you, it just crushes me. I\u2019ll stop and do anything for a little creature, I\u2019m crazy about them. So, I welcome, is the short answer. I welcome that&#8230;if it\u2019s the little kids. The grown\u00a0people, stay out of the costume. I\u2019ll see you at Comic-Con, that&#8217;s okay then.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Q:\u00a0I have a question for Cobie. Um, Agent Hill\u2019s pretty great at shooting.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>SMULDERS: She always hits him. I mean it\u2019s like magic. That&#8217;s the great thing about being in these movies. You can shoot over here and that guy dies. Always hit your mark.
