I seriously need to consider moving to Canada. I only had a taste of it and, man, am I hooked! To promote the release of the new 2016 Ford Explorer Platinum, an epic road trip was planned. The Platinum Adventure Tour spans over 2,738 miles from Vancouver, British Columbia to Albuquerque, New Mexico and is broken up into six distinct routes. Invited journalists could choose which portion they would like to participate in and I choose to drive from Kamloops, through Banff, and on to Calgary. Hands down we had the best drive route!

Well, all of the routes pass by noteworthy landmarks and/or the nation’s most beautiful national parks. However, our drive was divided over two days and gave us plenty of time to stop off and explore. The fact that our road trip’s motto was Explore More (#ExploreMore on Twitter) was very apropos. We also had that much more time to get to know the new Explorer which, by the way, was comfortable the WHOLE time in the front seats and in back!

Instead of me rambling on about the beauty we saw along the drive, why don’t I just show you what the experience was like. I hope you enjoy this photo tour of Kamloops to Calgary in the 2016 Ford Explorer.
