Those years have just passed by!\u00a0I was super excited to hear the announcement about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cookiesandclogs.com\/upcoming-walt-disney-animation-studios-and-pixar-films\/\">Toy Story 4<\/a> but the\u00a0movie won&#8217;t be out for\u00a0another 2-3 years (scheduled for 2018).\u00a0That&#8217;s a long time to wait! Fortunately, the Pixar crew put together a little something\u00a0to keep <em>Toy Story<\/em> fans happy in the meantime\u2014<em>Toy Story That Time Forgot<\/em>.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>During one of Bonnie&#8217;s play dates, the \u201cToy Story\u201d crew find themselves in uncharted territory when the coolest set of action figures ever turn out to be dangerously delusional. It&#8217;s all up to Trixie, the triceratops, if the gang hopes to ever return to Bonnie&#8217;s room.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h3><em>Toy Story That Time Forgot<\/em> on Blu-Ray, DVD, Digital HD,\u00a0DMA<\/h3>\n<p>Originally airing as a television special on ABC last December,\u00a0<em>Toy Story That Time Forgot<\/em>\u00a0was just released today on Blu-Ray, DVD, Digital HD, and on Disney Movies Anywhere (DMA).\u00a0I never saw\u00a0it\u00a0on TV so\u00a0I was pretty curious to find out what\u00a0this short is all about.\u00a0The short is 21 minutes long and\u00a0features many of the original voice actors from the movies like\u00a0Tom Hanks as Woody, Tim Allen as Buzz Lightyear, Kristen Schaal, Wallace Shawn as Rex, Timothy Dalton as Mr. Pricklepants, Don Rickles as Mr. Potato Head, and Joan Cusack as Jessie.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/MBGQjV8tAd0?rel=0\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3><em>Toy Story That Time Forgot<\/em> Bonus Features<\/h3>\n<p>Bonus features on the Blu-ray, Digital HD*, and Disney Movies Anywhere (DMA) versions of <em>Toy Story That Time Forgot<\/em> include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reptillus! &#8211; In this behind-the-scenes look at \u201cToy Story That Time Forgot,\u201d the filmmakers share a peek at the origins of the Battlesaurs world and culture, and explain the character design and development of its greatest hero, Reptillus Maximus.<\/li>\n<li>Commentary &#8211; Commentary with \u201cToy Story that Time Forgot\u201d director, Steve Purcell, and head of story, Derek Thompson, on the process of making \u201cToy Story That Time Forgot.\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Toy Story Goes to Comic-Con &#8211; The \u201cToy Story that Time Forgot\u201d team heads to San Diego to unveil the project to the public, led by their own longtime Comic-Con veterans, director Steve Purcell and head of story Derek Thompson.<\/li>\n<li>My Unexpected Friend &#8211; Feel the power &#8211; and sing along &#8211; as Reptillus Maximus expresses the depth of his feelings for Trixie in this 80&#8217;s-inspired karaoke video for his soulful ballad, &#8220;My Unexpected Friend.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Battlesaurs Animated Opening &#8211; A 2D animated opening for the fictional animated TV series, &#8220;Battlesaurs.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Deleted Scenes with Intros &amp; Outros \u2013 \u201cToy Story That Time Forgot\u201d director, Steve Purcell, introduces scenes that were developed and storyboarded for the special, but were ultimately cut from the final version:\n<ul>\n<li>Battlesaurs Christmas<\/li>\n<li>Light of Play<\/li>\n<li>Prisoners of Bone<\/li>\n<li>SOS<\/li>\n<li>Trixie\u2019s Proposal<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><em>Toy Story That Time Forgot<\/em>\u00a0Review<\/h3>\n<p>Aah!\u00a0<em><a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/1l78sMV\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Toy Story that Time Forgot<\/a><\/em> is so fun! I love how light but fluid the story is and how the new characters are developed just enough to draw you in. Reptillus Maximus and the rest of the Battlesaurs are a great addition to the Toy Story family.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-54140\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cookiesandclogs.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/toy-story-that-time-forgot-03.jpg\" alt=\"Movies | Animation | Toy Story That Time Forgot is now on Blu-Ray, DVD, Digital HD, and on Disney Movies Anywhere (DMA). It&#8217;s hilarious\u00a0and is\u00a0a total throwback to the <em>Thundercats<\/em> opening back in the 80s! Too bad this isn&#8217;t a real series\u2014it would probably be crazy popular. At least you can pick up some <a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/1H64qOw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Battlesaurs toys and the Toy Story gang in battle gear<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Parents won&#8217;t have to be alarmed as the tiny\u00a0bit of toy bashing (and sock monkey de-fluffing) is actually frowned upon and quickly resolved. The whole family will enjoy the humor and the positive messaging in <a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/1l78sMV\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Toy Story that Time Forgot<\/a>.
