As I was thinking about this sponsored post, it reminded me about how our complex recently had staff going to each apartment and checking the\u00a0smoke alarms. As you know, it\u2019s good practice to annually test your smoke and carbon monoxide alarms. It\u2019s vital that they are in top working order and that the batteries have plenty of juice should the alarm need to be sounded. That way, in case something happens at home, you have as much time as possible to put out any fire or evacuate your family. When danger is detected, there might only be a short window of time to prevent an incident that could result in injuries and damage. What happens when you are not at home though?<\/p>\n
