Tax time. Scrambling to find crumpled up receipts between sofa cushions, seeing if you can write off those spa days as medical needs, and wondering if that raise was worth the higher tax bracket are all part of the fun. However, after everything is finalized and completed, hopefully a nice refund is headed your way! If so, I know a fantastic way of how to stretch your tax refund dollars.

Taking Care of Business

If you have been neglecting the car that has so faithfully brought you from point A to point B and to C and D for the past year, it’s time to give it some much needed attention. Fortunately, you can head to AutoZone for all of your needs. Generally, I would let my husband go to pick up any parts we need. It’s not that I don’t know what I’m doing since I know just as much about cars as he does. However, I just don’t feel comfortable and am afraid that I will be overcharged or taken advantage of as a woman. Fortunately, AutoZone is not like that.

Loading Up Your Ride

AutoZone will not sell you parts that you don’t need. So, not only can you get expert advice but you can also feel assured that you won’t be ripped off. The store is also easy to navigate so you can find what you need quickly.

Since we just bought a new car, there are some “must have” items we needed to stock it with. First and foremost, we needed to pick out new license plate holders. Ugh, I hate having those cheap plastic holders advertising the place we got the car from. I prefer simple chrome holders but the full selection AutoZone carries is nice in case you like something more ornate.

We also needed to replace in-car basics including a new electronic tire gauge, a 12V to USB power converter, and hand sanitizer. You can never have too much hand sanitizer these days. The cargo organizer from our old car could just be moved over but we might need to get one that fits better at some point. Oh, I also need to make another run to AutoZone for a collapsible sun shade. Spring is already treating us to some nice extended daylight. 🙂
