She once had this bright idea to stack all her LEGOs up into one massive tower. When she stood up on the sofa, it was the perfect height for her sing into. Yes, little mini Munchkin created a standing microphone so she could perform. It was so sweet!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-54917\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cookiesandclogs.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/munchkin-lego-02.jpg\" alt=\"Toys | Parenting | Kids | LEGOs are for girls too! She always enjoyed playing with the LEGO collection (which belonged to Frans) at her grandparents\u2019 house,\u00a0but it wasn\u2019t until we got her a set of her own that she really began having fun. Of course, these weren\u2019t just any LEGO pieces. The LEGO Friends set we bought included pastel-colored pieces to make a\u00a0house with a small garden and a stable for the included horse.<\/p>\n<p>Munchkin was never\u00a0a girly-girl but she wasn&#8217;t\u00a0a tomboy either. Her interests laid somewhere between the two. This set was perfect for her. It was versatile enough for her to build whatever she wanted. But, the different color scheme of the blocks and the accessories added just the right touch of \u201cgirly-ness\u201d for her. These were prefect LEGOs for girls! Now, she\u2019s more interested in super heroes than playing house but the point is her first memories of LEGO are good ones.<\/p>\n<h3>LEGO Friends &amp; LEGO Bionicle on Netflix<\/h3>\n<p>LEGO continues to offer a variety of products and programming to appeal to both boys and girls. Starting this month two new shows are on streaming on Netflix \u2014\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.netflix.com\/title\/80058427\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">LEGO Friends : The Power of Friendship<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.netflix.com\/title\/80062112\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">LEGO Bionicle : The Journey to One<\/a>. You\u2019ll want to catch it every week and new episodes are added.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-54918 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cookiesandclogs.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/netflix-lego-01.jpg\" alt=\"Television | Entertainment | Netflix originals LEGO Friends : The Power of Friendship and LEGO Bionicle : The Journey to One are now streaming. LEGO Bionicle : The Journey to One focuses on how six heroes use the elements to fight evil. I\u2019m sure you kids will love either or both of these!<\/p>\n<p>We were sent one LEGO set in honor of each new show. Based on the type of person my daughter is, though, she likes elements of both. When you mix cutesy-loving girl toys with rough and tumble robot warrior, you get something like this.
