Where has the summer gone?! It seems like just yesterday that my daughter was celebrating the last day of school. But, in less than a month, she\u2019ll have to start up the new year. In the meantime, we have been trying to figure how to keep her mentally engaged. The girl has WAY too much time on her hands these days and we need to prevent that summer slide.<\/p>\n<h3>Shows for Kids to Prevent Summer Slide<\/h3>\n<p>Fortunately, during her free time, she can watch shows on Netflix while still learning something. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cookiesandclogs.com\/animaniacs-netflix\/\">Animaniacs<\/a> is full of facts (some slightly skewed) about history, geography, health, and 90\u2019s pop culture. The bouncy, silly songs that I once learned as a teen can now get stuck in her head for the summer. \ud83d\ude1b<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-56220\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cookiesandclogs.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/Animaniacs-World-Song.gif\" alt=\"Cookies &amp; Clogs | Entertainment | Television | Trying to figure out what to do with the kids this summer to prevent summer slide? Try watching these nine kids shows to enjoy and learn. Animaniacs World Song GIF\" width=\"650\" height=\"330\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Netflix had a few ideas to share. Of those, two really stood out to me. Are your kids into dance? Then they can learn how to arabesque among many other things with the Little Einsteins.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-56221\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cookiesandclogs.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/ARABESQUEV1.gif\" alt=\"Cookies &amp; Clogs | Entertainment | Television | Trying to figure out what to do with the kids this summer to prevent summer slide? Arabesque from Little Einsteins\" width=\"650\" height=\"330\" \/><\/p>\n<p>More into the ins and outs of time travel and key facts from history? The Mr. Peabody and Sherman Show, a Netflix Original Series, is oozing with info to fill little minds.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-56223\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cookiesandclogs.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/MR_PEABODY_CLEOP.gif\" alt=\"Cookies &amp; Clogs | Entertainment | Television | Trying to figure out what to do with the kids this summer to prevent summer slide?
