Lincoln had a private engagement planned and we were able to hear about the vehicle directly from Ford Motor Company vice president and president of Lincoln, Kumar Galhotra, and Lincoln design chief, David Woodhouse.<\/p>\n<p>The thoughtfulness that went into the design of the 2017 Lincoln MKZ is surprising, but in a good way. Many journalists felt as if Lincoln listened to and addressed all of the qualms previous pointed out.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/6ePipQMH5mY?rel=0\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3>Meet the 2017 Lincoln MKZ<\/h3>\n<p>The new 2017 Lincoln MKZ is a completely different sedan than the model I test drove <a href=\"\/2014-lincoln-mkz-hybrid-review\/\">just last year<\/a> (wow, these models progress quickly). The 2017 has a more modern look, a panoramic roof that goes way back, 14- or 20-speaker Revel audio, smart chargers, and tactile controls which replace the sliding bars that looked cool but weren\u2019t as easy to work with.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-54338\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cookiesandclogs.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/2017-LAAS-Lincoln-MKZ-02.jpg\" alt=\"Cars | Automotive | The 2017 Lincoln MKZ Reveal was in Los Angeles, CA November 2015. New technology has also been added such as Enhanced Active Park Assist, which will help you get into and out of perpendicular and parallel parking spots, protecting those glistening rims. Though Lincoln is generally associated with an older crowd, I could see some empty nesters in their\u00a0late-40s being intrigued by this luxury sedan.<\/p>\n<p>Summer 2016 is the slated release for the 2017 Lincoln MKZ.
