Now you can experience the same show right on your iPhone in <a href=\"http:\/\/itunes.apple.com\/us\/app\/jeopardy-platinum\/id377127117?mt=8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">JEOPARDY! Platinum<\/a>, just released earlier this month.<\/p>\n<p>The app opens the same as the television show with the logo coming up and the &#8216;do-do-do-do&#8217; song playing. I like that you sign your name just as real contestants would. You can then choose a character and customize it. The choices are limited but you can buy additional avatars for 99 cents each. Looking at the graphics below, I don&#8217;t think it would make that much difference. There is also an option to play a &#8216;solo&#8217; game.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6418\" title=\"jeopardy2\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cookiesandclogs.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/09\/jeopardy2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"267\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The controls are very easy as it&#8217;s just a matter of touching the screen with your choice. Questions are multiple choice and you have a limited time to either answer or pass. Multiple choice just doesn&#8217;t feel right when playing JEOPARDY! but I suppose it is hard to transfer that specific concept into a video game.<\/p>\n<p>The trivia itself is on par with that of the show. If you want more of a challenge, additional packs can be purchased for, again, 99 cents each. I couldn&#8217;t even get past the &#8216;easy&#8217; mode but I was never very good at trivia anyway.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6419\" title=\"jeopardy3\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cookiesandclogs.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/09\/jeopardy3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"267\" \/><\/p>\n<p>During play, the game is practically devoid of sound. Once  in a while you may hear some of the signature beeps, chimes, and buzzes but that&#8217;s it. While this may be true to the game show  it&#8217;s a bit boring while playing the app. At least you hear Alex Trebek&#8217;s dry humor and the awkwardness of the contestants on TV.<\/p>\n<p>JEOPARDY! Platinum is an inexpensive app at $1.99. It&#8217;s great for picking your brain on a wide variety of subjects and when you just can&#8217;t get enough of your favorite show. You will still get your &#8216;daily double&#8217;, the wagering, and harder questions depending on the amount it&#8217;s worth. If you really want to test your wits and enjoy putting it in a question form, you might want to stick to the television show.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana; font-size: x-small;\">Disclosure: I was provided with the JEOPARDY!
